As we welcome the new year and reflect on 2018, we send along warm wishes. The Siegfried Dunlay team is grateful for so many reasons, but our clients top our “grateful” list! We truly have the best clients that trust us to do such meaningful (and sometimes hard) work. Over the last year, we helped solve business challenges, manage reputations and develop leaders. None of which could be done without strong partnerships, trusting relationships and the privilege of being “in the room where it happens.” What fun to collaborate with smart leaders to do great work…from executing business strategies to communicating tough decisions and delivering impactful messages. Here are a few highlights from 2018.

Leadership Coaching and Strategic Communications

Conducted research with manufacturing and operations leaders across North America on the existing state of communications, culminating in design and facilitation of a day-long workshop to align goals, processes and actions to drive increased employee engagement across the plant network. 

Designed content and materials for public health professionals to deliver a two-day communication workshop in New Delhi. 
Following implementation of a DISC leadership assessment process, designed and led a two-day workshop in NYC with executive leadership team to align roles and responsibilities to support global business growth. 

Coached sales managers, preparing them to present CEU-accredited courses for architects. 
Provided multi-month coaching programs for leaders at several global companies, helping them improve their communication competencies, leadership abilities and executive presence. 

Prepared CEO to present a state-of-the-union all-employee address covering business goals for the year and recognizing performance. 
Designed multiple PowerPoint presentations and scripts used by leaders for selling, teaching and educating. 

Provide strategic communication support for presenters at National Sales Meeting. 

Developed corporate training presentation used at national AIA show for architects. Helped executive prepare and deliver an acceptance speech for a national award from the Trial Lawyers Association.

Managing Reputation

Provided multi-month strategic communication support on a highly sensitive, confidential project that involved internal stakeholders, consumers, union negotiators and news media. Work included all phases of strategy, execution and leader coaching to deliver messages at various project phases. Final deliverable also included a complete guidebook and set of best practices for future, similar projects. 

Supported multiple high-concern projects that required strategic, coaching and execution to help leaders be prepared to lead through challenges and changes driven by the economy. 

Facilitated alignment of business leaders on a key message platform for an acquisition to ensure consistent brand, marketing and sales messages for external audiences.

Customer Engagement, Marketing and Sales

Assessed brand strategy and brand portfolio for market-leading private company. Working with executive leadership team, conducted high-level research and recommended opportunities to evolve brand architecture to more effectively meet market needs and deliver strong messages to the market. 

Partnered with Supply Chain executive in global food company to develop key message platform, talking points and FAQs for multiple audiences to inspire and drive business transformation. 

Provided project management leadership to deliver the development of consumer educational materials within tight deadlines. 

Created presentation materials and coached multiple presenters to conduct financial education seminars for college students and community members; conducted shadowing sessions of each presenter across the country and provided real-time feedback. 

Provided public relations support for manufacturing company’s first-time participation at the annual AIA show for architects in NYC. 

Created presentation, provided presenter coaching and FAQ training for international presentation delivered at Hong Kong Convention Center. 

Helped develop a new corporate capabilities presentation for a financial services company.
